VI's Sanitary Industry Report: Why the Top Brands' Social Media Needs a Renovation

The Sanitary Industry is booming, but yet in turmoil: there is a talent shortage and delivery problems affecting the whole construction industry. This industry report will show you how big brands are missing out on the important sales channel that is social media – and what sanitary brands can do to improve their social media strategy right now.

Social media channels are a valid strategy to increase a brand’s sales. It’s not enough to have the channels per se and leave them to their own destiny – but many companies don’t quite use the full potential on social media yet. This is why we came up with our own VI Social Media Maturity Model to put the finger on where the renovation work is needed.

From July until September 2023, we looked at seven top European brands and analysed their social media presence based on 100 criteria such as content quality, community management, and ad management: Are they using their social media presence efficiently to turn them into a high-selling perfomance?

You’ll get full insight about how:

  • top brands like Villeroy & Boch, Ideal Standard or Hansgrohe perform on Facebook and Instagram
  • you’ll get statistics and figures on their business value and ad management
  • and some hands-on tips to improve your social media strategy fast
