You don’t treat brands as “just communication.” You see them as decision systems—purpose, positioning, behavior, experience, and expression. You lead clients proactively, ask the questions that matter, align stakeholders, and translate complex challenges into clear strategic direction. Above all, you dive deep into brands, understand their core and context (market, culture, communities), and turn insights into actionable guidance that teams can use—from diagnosis to rollout across touchpoints.

Instead of a classic portfolio, we especially appreciate case studies (slides, strategy decks, workshop outputs) that show your thinking and measurable impact.

What you will do:

  1. Lead brand strategy engagements from discovery to recommendation: audits, research synthesis, competitive/market analysis, and strategic framing

  2. Define and sharpen positioning (purpose, value proposition, RTBs, differentiation), including clear implications for products, services, and communication

  3. Translate brand strategy into practical tools: messaging architecture, narrative frameworks, tone of voice principles, brand behaviors, and decision guidelines

  4. Run and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders (brand, marketing, product, comms), turning ambiguity into alignment and next steps

  5. Connect brand, culture, and society: identify relevant signals and tensions, and ensure the brand shows up credibly and distinctively

  6. Partner closely with Consulting, Design, Tech, and Marketing to ensure strategy is implementable—bridging thinking and doing

  7. Present confidently and advise decisively: structure discussions, handle objections, and guide clients toward choices that create impact

What we expect:

  • 2–4+ years of relevant experience in brand strategy/consulting (agency or in-house), ideally with digital/product-touchpoint exposure

  • Strong strategic craft and storytelling: you can build a compelling argument, not just a deck

  • Client leadership mindset: proactive, structured, and comfortable facilitating and advising

  • Brand sensitivity and analytical rigor: you balance intuition with evidence and market reality

  • Hands-on, ownership-driven attitude: you want to shape outcomes, not just contribute

  • Fluency in contemporary brand ecosystems (social, creators, communities, platform logic, data signals, AI-supported workflows)

  • Excellent German and English, written and spoken
